About Me

My hope for you today is to have found something helpful in my branches of blog posts. This space was created for me to share with the world things that I know, things that I care about, and things that I want to pass on to others.

Sarah Miller, RD, CNSC

I’m a Registered Dietitian (RD) and have spent most of my experience in the clinical setting. I attended San Jose State University (SJSU) and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science concentration Dietetics. I completed my dietetic internship through SJSU at a level 1 trauma center hospital. After completing my internship and passing the RD exam, I worked in Skilled Nursing Facilities for my first 6 months of experience, and then moved to an acute hospital setting, eventually concluding my clinical time in outpatient peritoneal dialysis. I have also spent time working for a local tech company as one of their biometric screening counselors, contracted through a local wellness company. I love nutrition as a tool for health and disease prevention and can talk for hours about plant-based nutrition. I became a dietitian to be knowledgeable on the latest nutrition science, to apply those evidence-based practices to my work, and to share that knowledge and enthusiasm for this science with the world. There’s more layers to me than my education and nutrition passion, but that’s a good place for us to start our journey together.
